​Postgraduate studies/research in Spain.

Objectives ​24 grants offered to undertake postgraduate studies/research in areas of mutual interest for Spain and the United States, individual or team. Eligible candidates: from students in their last year of university studies to advanced doctoral candidates.
Deadline for submission of applications From 01-May-2013 to 15-October-2013
Disciplines ​All disciplines.
Requirements ​United States citizenship, University graduate or in the last year of studies, command of the Spanish language.

Grant Duration ​9 months.
Grant Period ​Normally from mid-September to mid-June.
Grant Benefits
  • $1,500 travel expenses; 
  • 1,345 € monthly maintenance; 
  • 200 € relocation allowance; 
  • Up to 500 € project-related expenses;
  • 400 € accompanying family (one time payment);
  • Health benefits up to $100,000
