Grants for U.S. Senior Researchers

Objectives	Contribute significantly to advanced studies of mutual interest to the U.S. and Spain
Deadline for submission of applications	From 01-February-2012 to 01-August-2012
Disciplines	Preference for social sciences and humanities; however, all disciplines will be considered.
Requirements	United States citizenship Professor/professional/artist
Forms	Application to be submitted through CIES. Documentation verifying availability of research resources, agreement of individuals with whom the scholar will collaborate, if applicable, or other confirmation of institutional affiliation should accompany application.

Grant Duration	From 3 to 5 months.
Grant Period	Grant must begin before April 1, 2013
Grant Benefits	Base stipend: 1,700 € per month Travel: $ 1,700 Housing allowance: 540€ Relocation allowance: 850 € Living allowance: 390-540€, depending if accompanied by one legal familiy member for at least 80% of the award period. Dependent travel: $ 1,400 for one legal family member who accompany grantee for at least 80% of the award period. Health benefits.
Calendarios proceso de selección	Not required.
Observations	One award is cosponsored by the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas for a researcher who will be affiliated at one of their centers in Madrid. Fulbright Commission promotes academic and professional affiliations with public and private institutions throughout the country.
